Miklajung rural municipality


Miklajung rural municipality is a rural municipality situated in the western part of the Panchthar District. This rural Municipality was developed by merging Sarangdada village development committee, Aarubote village development committee, Ravi village development committee, Kurumba village development committee, Limba village development committee, and Durdimba village development committee. The total area of this rural municipality is 166.6 square kilometers. This rural municipality is divided into eight wards. Ward number one is the area covered by ward number 1 to 4 of the previous Sarangdada village development committee, ward number two is the area covered by ward number 5 to 9 of the previous Sarangdada village development committee, ward number three is the area covered by ward number 1 to 9 of the previous Aarubote village development committee, ward number four is the area covered by ward number 1 to 9 of the previous Ravi village development committee, ward number five is the area covered by ward number 1 to 8 of previous Kurumba village development committee, ward number six is the area covered by ward number 9 of previous  Kurumba village development committee and ward number 1, 2, 3, 9 of Limba village development committee, ward number seven is the area covered by ward number 4 to 8 of previous Limba village development committee and ward number eight is the area covered by ward number 1 to 9 of the previous Durdimba village development committee. This rural municipality is bordered in the east by Ilam District, in the west by Dhankuta District and Tumbewa rural municipality, in the north by Kummayak rural municipality and in the south by Morang District. This rural municipality has a population of 23715.
