part of the Panchthar District. This rural Municipality was developed by
merging Sarangdada village development committee, Aarubote village development
committee, Ravi village development committee, Kurumba village development
committee, Limba village development committee, and Durdimba village
development committee. The total area of this rural municipality is 166.6
square kilometers. This rural municipality is divided into eight wards. Ward
number one is the area covered by ward number 1 to 4 of the previous Sarangdada
village development committee, ward number two is the area covered by ward
number 5 to 9 of the previous Sarangdada village development committee, ward
number three is the area covered by ward number 1 to 9 of the previous Aarubote
village development committee, ward number four is the area covered by ward
number 1 to 9 of the previous Ravi village development committee, ward number five is the area
covered by ward number 1 to 8 of previous Kurumba village development
committee, ward

the previous Durdimba village development committee. This rural municipality is
bordered in the east by Ilam District, in the west by Dhankuta District and
Tumbewa rural municipality, in the north by Kummayak rural municipality and in
the south by Morang District. This rural municipality has a population of 23715.

Kummayak
rural municipality is a rural municipality situated in the western part of the
Panchthar District. This rural Municipality was developed by merging Yasok
village development committee, Manjabung village development committee,
Ranigaau village development committee, and Syaabrumba village development
committee. The total area of this rural municipality is 129.29 square
kilometers. This rural municipality is divided into five wards. Ward number one
is the area covered by ward number 1 to 9 of the previous Yasok village
development committee, ward number two is the area covered by ward number 1 to
9 of the previous Manjabung village development committee, ward number three is the
area covered by ward number 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 of previous Ranigaau village development
committee, ward number four is the area covered by ward number 1, 6,7, 8 of previous Ranigaau
village development committee, and ward number five is the area covered by ward
number 1 to 9 of the previous Syaabrumba village development committee. This rural
municipality is bordered in the east by Phidim Municipality and Phalgunanda
rural municipality in the west by Tehrathum District and Tumbewa rural
municipality, in the north by Terhathum district and in the south by Tumbewa
rural municipality and Miklajung rural municipality. This rural municipality
has a population of 16118.
Hilihang Rural Municipality
Hilihang rural municipality is a rural municipality situated in the northwest part of the Panchthar District. This rural Municipality was developed by merging the Amarpur village development committee, Panchami village development committee, Subhang village development committee, and Bharpaa village development committee. The total area of this rural municipality is 123.01 square kilometers. This rural municipality is divided into seven wards. Ward number one is the area covered by ward number 1 to 5 of the previous Amarpur village development committee, ward number two is the area covered by ward number 6 to 9 of previous Amarpur village development committee, ward number three is the area covered by ward number 1, 2, 3, 5 of previous Panchami village development committee, ward number four is the area covered by ward number 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 of previous Panchami village development committee, ward number five is the area covered by ward number 3 to 9 of previous Subhang village development committee, ward number six is the area covered by ward number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of previous Bharpaa village development committee, and ward number seven is the area covered by ward number 1, 2 of previous Subhang village development committee and ward number 7, 8, 9 of previous Bharpaa village development committee. This rural Municipality was developed by merging the Nawamidanda village development committee, Imbung village development committee, Pauwasaartaap village development committee, Chilingdin village development committee, Phaktep village development committee, and Aangsaraang village development committee. The total area of this rural municipality is 107.53 square kilometers. This rural municipality is divided into seven wards. The total area of this rural municipality is 207.15 square kilometers. This rural municipality is divided into eight wards. in the eastern part of the Taplejung District. This rural Municipality was developed
by merging Sinaam village development committee, Aamwegudin village development
committee Sikaicha village development committee, Tellok village development
committee, Pedang village development committee, Maamamkhe village development
committee, Khewang village development committee and Yamphudin village
development committee. The total area of this rural municipality is 481.09
square kilometer. This rural municipality is divided into eight wards. Ward
number one is the area covered by the previous Sinaam village development committee,
ward number two is the area covered by previous Aamwegudin village development
committee, ward number three is the area covered by previous Sikaicha village
development committee, ward number four is the area covered by previous Tellok village
development committee, ward number five is the area covered by previous Pedang village
development committee, ward number six is the area covered by previous Maamamkhe
village development committee, ward number seven is the area covered by previous
Khewang village development committee and ward number eight is the area covered
by previous Yamphudin village development committee. This rural municipality is

Pathibhara Yangwarak Rural Municipality
Pathibhara Yangwarak rural municipality is a rural municipality
situated in the southern part of the Taplejung District. This rural Municipality
was developed by merging Nangkholyang village development committee, Thechambhu
village development committee, Tringe village development committee, Dumrishe village
development committee, Chaksibot village development committee and Thumbedin village
development committee. The total area of this rural municipality is 92.77
square kilometer. This rural municipality is divided into six wards. Ward
number one is the area covered by previous Nangkholyang village development
committee, ward number two is the area covered by previous Thechambhu village
development committee, ward number three is the area covered by the previous Tringe
village development committee, ward number four is the area covered by previous
Dumrishe village development committee, ward number five is the area covered by
previous Chaksibot village development committee and ward number six is the
area covered by previous Thumbedin village development committee. This rural
municipality is bordered in the east by Sirijangha rural municipality in the west
and north by Phungling Municipality and in the south by Panchthar District. This
